On 25th October 1995, Macau joined the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cutural Organization (UNESCO).The UNESCO Centre of Macau was inaugurated on 29th June 1998. This Center is run by the Macau Foundation, is aimed mainly at young people, and takes as its mission implementation of the objectives stated in UNESCO's constitution, as well as the objectives of Macau Foundation.
